Special Needs Parish School of Religion (PSR) at Saint Joseph Parish, Cuyahoga Falls – Starting this Fall!
All baptized persons with any disability or special learning needs have a right to catechesis and deserve the means to develop a relationship with God. Specialized and adaptative catechists should help them understand they are a beloved child of God and be a witness Christ's presence in their own ways. We will offer one session a month on a Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM starting September 5. FIRST FRIDAY CLUB IN SEPTEMBER FEATURES FR. NORM DOUGLAS
Father Norm Douglas, Pastor of St. Vincent Church, will be speaking on "Reflections on 9/1 1 — Then & Now" at The First Friday Club of Greater Akron on September 4. First Friday Club luncheons are held at Our Lady of Cedars on South Cleveland-Massillon Road in Fairlawn. Cost to attend is $25 at the door, but you must email your reservation to [email protected]. Or you can mail your check to First Friday Club, PO Box 13291, Fairlawn OH 44334. Cost includes a buffet-style lunch. Doors and buffet open at 11:00. The speaker begins at Noon and the event ends at 1:00 PM. We can only reserve full tables of 8. If you know for sure that you will attend and want to sit at a MOS table, please call Carol Kamphuis or email her at [email protected] by August 31 .
